 Southwest EC is 9-1 against Imperial since April of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Southwest EC Eagles will head out on the road to  square off against  the Imperial Tigers at 7:00  p.m. Southwest EC's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3  runs per game  this season, so Imperial's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
 Saturday just wasn't the day for Southwest EC's offense. They fell victim to a  tough 7-0 defeat at the hands of Ramona  on Saturday. The  matchup marked that first time this season in which Southwest EC was not able to get on the board.
 Southwest EC got a good showing from  Brock London, who   pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits.
 Meanwhile, Imperial had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Vikings out  3-1.

 Southwest EC's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Imperial, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record  this season.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Southwest EC has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.2  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Imperial struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 3.7  stolen bases per game. The only question left is which team can snag more.
