Basketball Recap: Mogollon Skates Past Seligman with Ease

Mogollon waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their game with ease, bagging a 72-16 victory over the Seligman Antelopes. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Marissa Parry had a dynamite game for Mogollon, going 11 of 21 on her way to 24 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. That's the most steals Parry has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kindsey Porter, who went 6 for 13 en route to 13 points and six steals.

Mogollon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive matches.

Mogollon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Seligman, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Mogollon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Seligman has also already played their next contest, a 53-21 defeat against Grand Canyon on the 4th.
