Soccer Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short

After flying high against North County on Friday, Windsor came back down to earth. The Owls took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Festus Tigers on Tuesday. Windsor were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Festus apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4-1. As for Festus, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor will host Fredericktown at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Windsor will be up against Fredericktown's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.57 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Festus, they will be playing at home against Sikeston at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
