Volleyball Recap: Laton Comes Up Short

Laton came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Kings Christian Crusaders, falling 3-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-15.

Camila Figueroa paced Laton's offense, picking up four kills. Figueroa were helped by Berenice Gonzalez and Mary Thomas, who contributed two assists each. Thomas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Laton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kings Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Laton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Orange Cove on the 2nd. As for Kings Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Orosi on the 29th.
