Volleyball Recap: Laton Comes Up Short

Laton lost against Kings Christian back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Crusaders.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-15.

Camila Figueroa paced Laton's offense, picking up four kills. Figueroa were helped by Berenice Gonzalez and Mary Thomas, who contributed two assists each. Thomas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Laton's loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kings Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Laton will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Orange Cove at 5:30 p.m. As for Kings Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Orosi at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
