Volleyball Recap: Leetonia Takes a Loss

Leetonia lost against Malvern back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bears lost 3-0 to the Hornets.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-9.

Carli Simms paced Leetonia's offense, picking up four kills. Simms got some help from Payton Gray and her eight assists. Gray was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Leetonia's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Malvern, their victory bumped their record up to 4-13.

Leetonia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Southern on the 30th. As for Malvern, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Conotton Valley on the 30th.
