Baseball Recap: Branson Comes Up Short

Branson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Lebanon Yellowjackets. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly five runs.

Branson's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Lebanon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Branson will take on Marshfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates will need to watch out since the Bluejays have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups. As for Lebanon, they will venture away from home to take on Kickapoo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
