Baseball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Glenn's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Stevenson Spartans on Wednesday. The Rockets haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Stevenson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-14-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenn will face off against Ecorse at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Stevenson, they will square off against Garden City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
