After flying high against Indianapolis Washington last Thursday, Indianapolis Shortridge came back down to earth. The Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oldenburg Academy Twisters on Saturday. The Blue Devils' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Indianapolis Shortridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Oldenburg Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Indianapolis Shortridge will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Indianapolis Crispus Attucks at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Oldenburg Academy, they will challenge Waldron at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
