Basketball Recap: Lake Forest Comes Up Short

After flying high against Early College last Tuesday, Lake Forest came back down to earth. The Lake Forest Spartans took a 49-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodbridge Raiders on Thursday. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 47-46.

Lake Forest's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Woodbridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lake Forest will take on Archmere Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lake Forest is facing Archmere Academy at the right time seeing as Archmere Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Woodbridge has already played their next game (against Indian River), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
