Basketball Recap: Trico Makes It Five in a Row at Home

On Monday, the Trico Pioneers strolled past the Gibault Catholic Hawks with points to spare, taking the game 51-36. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

Despite the loss, Gibault Catholic still got an impressive performance from Karmon Grohmann, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. With that strong performance, Grohmann is now averaging an impressive 8.3 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamille Grohmann, who posted nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Trico's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. As for Gibault Catholic, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.
