Volleyball Recap: Grand Rapids Comes Up Short

Grand Rapids was the 2-0 winner over Byron when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Thunderhawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears on Saturday. The Thunderhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Grand Rapids' loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Byron, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Grand Rapids has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Pequot Lakes on the 11th. As for Byron, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Princeton on the 11th.
