Xavier has gone 9-1 against Washington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Saints will challenge the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Friday just wasn't the day for Xavier's offense. They came up short against Iowa City on Friday, falling 10-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Washington didn't have quite enough to beat Iowa City West on Friday and fell 12-11. The Warriors have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Xavier, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.

Everything went Xavier's way against Washington when the teams last played back in June of 2024, as Xavier made off with an 18-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
