Basketball Recap: Gwinn Comes Up Short

Gwinn lost against Ishpeming back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Gwinn Modeltowners were dealt a 67-39 defeat at the hands of the Ishpeming Hematites. The Modeltowners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gwinn's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-2. As for Ishpeming, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Gwinn will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Manistique at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Ishpeming, they will venture away from home to take on Iron Mountain at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
