Basketball Recap: James Valley Christian Takes a Loss

James Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Faulkton Trojans 52-6. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

James Valley Christian's record now sits at 0-14. As for Faulkton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Coming up, James Valley Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Estelline/Hendricks at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Faulkton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
