Soccer Recap: Rim of the World Comes Up Short

Rim of the World lost against Banning last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rim of the World Fighting Scots fell 3-1 to the Banning Broncos. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 195th, while the Broncos are ranked 13th).

This is the second loss in a row for Rim of the World and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Banning, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Rim of the World will take on Arrowhead Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Banning, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-1 victory against Entrepreneur on the 12th.
