Basketball Recap: Comstock Park Takes a Loss

Comstock Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. The match between them and the Belding Black Knights didn't end well, with the Comstock Park Panthers falling 49-32. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 549th, while the Black Knights are ranked 198th).

Comstock Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Belding, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Looking ahead, Comstock Park will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hopkins at 7:00 p.m. Hopkins will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Comstock Park surely won't give up without a fight. As for Belding, they have already played their next contest, a 57-25 victory against Tri-Unity Christian on the 10th.
