Basketball Recap: West Ridge Comes Up Short

West Ridge suffered their biggest defeat since November 22, 2023 on Tuesday. They came up short against the David Crockett Pioneers, falling 80-58. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 46-44 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2021.

West Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for David Crockett, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Ridge will venture away from home to challenge Tennessee at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Tennessee knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully West Ridge likes a good challenge. As for David Crockett, they are taking a road trip to face off against South Greene at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
