Volleyball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Triangle Math & Science took on Eno River Academy on Monday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Bobcats back in April, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

While Triangle Math & Science won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-16.

Lev Marushevskyi paced Triangle Math & Science's offense, picking up 24 kills. Marushevskyi got some help from Chris Lange and his 27 assists. Marushevskyi was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Triangle Math & Science has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Eno River Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.

As of now, neither Triangle Math & Science nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
