Flag Football Recap: Wheat Ridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Saturday just wasn't the day for Wheat Ridge's offense. They took a blow against the Pomona Panthers on Saturday, falling 66-0. While losing is never fun, the Farmers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado flag football rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Panthers are ranked 15th).

Wheat Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Pomona, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Wheat Ridge has already played their next contest, a 31-8 loss against Bear Creek on the 6th. As for Pomona, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-6 victory against Evergreen on the 6th.
