Basketball Recap: Victor Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Victor Valley Christian lost against Excelsior Charter back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Victor Valley Christian Royals fell 59-48 to the Excelsior Charter Eagles. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Victor Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Excelsior Charter, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Victor Valley Christian has already played their next game (against Academy of Careers & Exploration), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Excelsior Charter Eagles challenge the Summit Leadership Academy EAGLES at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Summit Leadership Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Excelsior Charter surely won't give up without a fight.
