Baseball Game Preview: Smyrna Eagles vs. Conrad Science Red Wolves

The Smyrna Eagles will face off against the Conrad Science Red Wolves at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Smyrna is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Sussex Tech, who was ranked first at the time (Smyrna was ranked 17th). The Eagles fell 5-0 to the Ravens on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Ravens: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Conrad Science strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on Middletown with a sharp 11-2 victory. That nine run margin sets a new team best for the Red Wolves this season.

Smyrna's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Conrad Science, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
