Softball Recap: Mountainside Comes Up Short

Mountainside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 29-4 to the Wickenburg Wranglers.

Mountainside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Wickenburg, they pushed their record up to 12-11 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountainside will venture away from home to face off against Trivium Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Crimson Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.58 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wickenburg, they will head out on the road to challenge Chino Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
