Basketball Recap: East Hampton Takes a Loss

East Hampton suffered their closest loss since March 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Old Saybrook Rams by a score of 36-33. The Bellringers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for East Hampton and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Old Saybrook, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

East Hampton has already played their next matchup (against Portland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Old Saybrook will square off against Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Morgan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.2 points per game this season.
