Volleyball Recap: Crestview Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fort Walton Beach on Tuesday, Crestview came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Defeat or not, Crestview got some senior leadership from Kelsey Griffin and Kyla Fry. Griffin had 18 digs and two aces, while Fry had nine assists and five digs. Griffin has been hot, having posted 15 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Crestview's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Crestview has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Owasso on the 28th. As for McKinney Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Decatur on the 28th.
