Chiles and Lincoln are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Timberwolves will host the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chiles will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Chiles made easy work of Blountstown and carried off an 11-1 victory. Considering the Timberwolves have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Lincoln earned a 7-3 win over St. John Paul II on Tuesday.

Gabbi Coulter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. Those eight strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

At the plate, Lincoln let Lanie Woodson and Kayleigh Eikeland run wild. Woodson scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Eikeland scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances. Those three runs gave Eikeland a new career-high.

Chiles' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Chiles took their win against Lincoln when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 11-1 score. Do the Timberwolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
