Volleyball Recap: West Carter Takes a Loss

West Carter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fleming County Panthers. If the Comets were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Panthers when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Carter's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Fleming County, they pushed their record up to 11-21 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither West Carter nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
