Basketball Game Preview: Mountain View Toros vs. Westwood Warriors

The Mountain View Toros will take on the Westwood Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mountain View has three straight victories, Westwood has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Mountain View will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Mesa, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Mountain View secured a 52-46 W over Mesa on Friday.

Meanwhile, Westwood took a blow against Red Mountain on Friday, falling 60-30. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Mountain Lions are ranked 44th).

Mountain View is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Westwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.
