Soccer Recap: Eau Gallie Takes a Loss

Eau Gallie and Satellite squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Eau Gallie had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Satellite Scorpions. While losing is never fun, the Commodores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Scorpions are ranked 132nd).

Eau Gallie has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10-2 record this season. As for Satellite, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-2.

As of now, neither Eau Gallie nor Satellite have any future games scheduled.
