Sunnyside has gone a perfect 5-0 against Pueblo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Sunnyside Blue Devils will welcome the Pueblo Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sunnyside is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Nogales just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

MICHEL MUNIZ was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Pueblo lost 12-4 to Douglas on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Omar Soto made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alex Cuen, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Pueblo now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sunnyside, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Sunnyside's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's game. Sunnyside has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Pueblo, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Sunnyside continue to outrun the ball?

Everything went Sunnyside's way against Pueblo when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Sunnyside made off with a 19-2 victory. Does Sunnyside have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pueblo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
