St. Pius X can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. Everything went their way against Academie Lafayette as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Warriors not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-17.

St. Pius X's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alaina Ortiz, who had eight digs and three aces. Avery Smith also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

St. Pius X's victory bumped their record up to 11-13-1. As for Academie Lafayette, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, St. Pius X will take on Excelsior Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Academie Lafayette, they will square off against Lincoln College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
