Basketball Recap: Ville Platte Takes a Loss

Ville Platte was the 68-60 winner over Eunice when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ville Platte Bulldogs fell 64-55 to the Eunice Bobcats on Saturday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldogs came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Bobcats are ranked 231st).

Ville Platte's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Eunice, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-16 record this season.

Ville Platte will face off against Walker at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eunice, they will host Iota at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
