Volleyball Recap: Pacelli Takes a Loss

Pacelli saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peshtigo Bulldogs. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Peshtigo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Neela Sotka, who had nine assists and seven digs. Those nine assists gave Sotka a new career-high.

Pacelli's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Peshtigo, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Pacelli will be playing at home against Almond-Bancroft at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Peshtigo, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Valley Christian on the 27th.
