Baseball Recap: Ladysmith Comes Up Short

Ladysmith fell victim to Barron and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Golden Bears. The loss continues a trend for the Lumberjacks in their meetings with the Golden Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Ladysmith saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cash LaBrie, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that LaBrie has hit this season.

Ladysmith's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Barron, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
