Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northern Guilford). They never let the Southeast Guilford Falcons get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Thursday. Leah Blackwell was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Northern Guilford's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four matches. As for Southeast Guilford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Northern Guilford and Southeast Guilford will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Nighthawks see the pitch they'll take on Southwest Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
