Baseball Game Preview: Bear Lake Bears vs. Snake River Panthers

The Bear Lake Bears will head out to face off against the Snake River Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bear Lake has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bear Lake is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Marsh Valley on Friday. They lost 16-0 to the Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Snake River was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell just short of South Fremont by a score of 2-1.

Snake River saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ridj Allen, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Bear Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Snake River, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
