Chelmsford hasn't had much luck against Andover recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Lions will take on the Golden Warriors at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Andover will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Chelmsford extended their winning streak to six on Sunday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Tewksbury Memorial.

Finn Ramseyer was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. John Latham was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Chelmsford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in three consecutive games.
Andover came out on top against Central Catholic on Sunday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run third inning. The Golden Warriors put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 14-2 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Golden Warriors have posted against the Raiders since April 26, 2019.
Zach Pawlowski looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Andover got a massive performance out of Ryan Jaillet, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Pulsifer, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Andover is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Chelmsford, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Chelmsford hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. However, it's not like Andover struggles in that department as they've averaged .314. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Chelmsford suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Andover in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
