Cape Fear Christian Academy is a perfect 5-0 against New Garden Friends since October of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will welcome the Bears at 5:00 p.m. Cape Fear Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while New Garden Friends will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Cape Fear Christian Academy made easy work of Kerr-Vance Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cape Fear Christian Academy took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Meanwhile, New Garden Friends lost 3-0 to Lee Christian on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost six in a row.

New Garden Friends was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Lee Christian work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11, 26-24.

Cape Fear Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for New Garden Friends, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
