Omaha South's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top against Lincoln North Star by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for Omaha South in their matchups with Lincoln North Star: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to nine goals the game before, Millard South was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They fell just short of Lincoln Southeast by a score of 1-0. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Millard South couldn't quite close it out.

Omaha South now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Millard South, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Omaha South skirted past Millard South 1-0 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Omaha South since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
