Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Savannah

Savannah won against West Nodaway on Friday with 46 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Savannah Savages strolled past the Nodaway-Holt Trojans with points to spare, taking the game 46-30. While the Savages didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win (which was Savannah's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Nodaway-Holt, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-1.

Savannah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-30 victory against Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] on the 27th. As for Nodaway-Holt, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-36 win against Bishop LeBlond on the 28th.
