Basketball Recap: Greene County Comes Up Short

Greene County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Cherokee Washington Braves 67-13. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 331st, while the Braves are ranked 40th).

Greene County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-24. As for Cherokee Washington, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

As of now, neither Greene County nor Cherokee Washington have any future games scheduled.
