Forrest waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Cannon County Lions by a score of 6-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 last Tuesday.

Forrest pushed their record up to 20-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cannon County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Forrest didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 victory against Cascade on the 30th. Cannon County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
