Softball Game Preview: Hillcrest Trojans vs. Canyon Springs Cougars

The Hillcrest Trojans will face off against the Canyon Springs Cougars at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

JW North hit Hillcrest with a five-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 11-10.

The win made it two in a row for Canyon Springs and bumps their season record up to 16-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.
