Basketball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton lost against Northside back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Clinton Yellowjackets took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northside Grizzlies. The contest marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Clinton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Northside, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton will be home for the holidays to greet Arkadelphia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arkadelphia will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Clinton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northside, they will take on Hall in a tournament on Thursday.
