Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Falls Eagles vs. Cinco Ranch Cougars

Cypress Falls is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They put the hurt on Lamar with a sharp 73-47 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won three matches in a row.

Meanwhile, Cinco Ranch entered their tilt with Alief Elsik on Tuesday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. They blew past the Rams 65-45. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Rams are ranked 365th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cypress Falls' win bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Cinco Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 26-5.
