Volleyball Recap: Paulo Delgado and Micah Kholodenko Secure Win for Prosser

Prosser hadn't done well against Lake View recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats, sneaking past 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Wildcats last Tuesday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Prosser had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 26-24, 25-19.

Leading Prosser to victory were Micah Kholodenko and Paulo Delgado. Kholodenko had six digs, four aces, and one block, while Delgado had 14 kills and two blocks. With that strong performance, Delgado is now averaging an impressive 5.1 kills per game.

Prosser's record now sits at 8-14. As for Lake View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15-1 record this season.

Prosser will challenge Foreman at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake View, they are taking a road trip to take on Ridgewood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
