The Palisades Pirates will head out on the road to square off against the Palmerton Blue Bombers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Palisades' pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Lehighton 14-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Catie Russo was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Xiomara Day also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Palisades always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lehighton only posted an OBP of .250.
Palmerton came out on top against Wilson Area on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Blue Bombers were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Warriors. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Bombers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.
HAILEY BARRY was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. BARRY was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, TESSA SANDER was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was MIKAYLA PENGELLY, who went 2-for-4 with one home run.
The win got Palmerton back to even at 6-6. As for Palisades, their record now sits at 8-3.
Palmerton's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Palisades has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .460. It's a different story for Palmerton, though, as they've only averaged .339. Will they be able to contain Palisades' hitters?
Palisades came out on top in a nail-biter against Palmerton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 6-5. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Bombers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
