Baseball Recap: Teaneck Takes a Loss

Teaneck lost against Pascack Valley on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Highwaymen fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-6. The Highwaymen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jayden Castro was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Jack Daniels, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Teaneck's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Pascack Valley, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Teaneck will face off against Ridgewood at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Pascack Valley, they will challenge St. Peter's Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
