Basketball Recap: Cole Hardin Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Laurel Hill

Baker had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Laurel Hill Hoboes by a score of 56-45 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 83-44 back in January.

Baker's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cole Hardin led the charge by putting up 19 points. The dominant performance gave Hardin a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Terrance Clausell, who posted 17 points.

Baker is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Laurel Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

Baker wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-45 win against Paxton on the 7th. Laurel Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
