Basketball Game Preview: Seneca East Tigers vs. Upper Sandusky Rams

The Seneca East Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Upper Sandusky Rams at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Seneca East knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Upper Sandusky likes a good challenge.

While Seneca East didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Carey by a score of 67-54 on Saturday. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Upper Sandusky ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 41-40 win over Columbian. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Seneca East's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Upper Sandusky, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Seneca East ended up a good deal behind Upper Sandusky when the teams last played back in January, losing 55-36. Can Seneca East avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
