Basketball Recap: CAMDEN KELL Key Part of a Team Effort in Clippers Win

Putnam's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They managed a 69-63 win over the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Clippers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Putnam's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from CAMDEN KELL, who went 7 for 17 on his way to 22 points along with seven assists and four steals. With that strong performance, KELL is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. NICHOLAS DEVLIN was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds.

Despite the loss, Lyman Memorial still got an impressive performance from Kevin Botticello, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 boards. Botticello is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last 16 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Theo Taylor, who posted ten points and six boards.

With the victory, Putnam broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8. As for Lyman Memorial, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Putnam didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-56 win against Plainfield on the 29th. Lyman Memorial has also already played their next game, a 69-44 defeat against Wheeler on the 29th.
